Description

The aim of this course is to analyze the development of the city and the sports over the last century. Was there a good fit between the city and the development of sport? How has the city been affected by sport? Could it ever make sense to bring the Olympic Games to the city in the future?

This elective is specific to the SM Policy & Analytics Path (Path 2). All students must take at least three credits that are specific to their undeclared track.

Advisory: (SOC 210 or STATS 250 or STATS 280 or 400-level STATS course) and SM 238, SM 241, SM 249
