Sport Management Peer Facilitators assist new students with their transition to U-M and to cultivate a sense of connectedness to Sport Management, School of Kinesiology, and U-M. The facilitators engage in facilitating classroom discussions and outside-of-class workshops. Facilitation is a process in which a trained and experienced student plans, develops, and conducts structured and effective peer interactions that produce a clear result that is commonly understood and supported by all participants. SM Peer Facilitators are given the option to select academic credit or financial compensation for this experience. This position is approximately 5-10 hours per week. Applications open at the end of each semester.
These events are for students enrolled in SM100 during Winter Semester 2022 (taught by Dr. Yang or Mr. Nystrom). Event and event details are subject to change. Masks are required at all events.
