IONM Career Fair

We're currently in the planning stages for the 2019 IONM Career Fair. Dates will be announced sometime in Fall 2018.

 

In the meantime, the information below can give you an idea of what this year's was like. The 2018 IONM Career Fair was February 1 and 2.

 

IONM Career Fair: Employers

This April, the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology will graduate the fifth class of students from its Intraoperative Neuromonitoring program. Employers are invited to interview these students, plus meet sophomores and juniors in the program.

Registration is $1000 and includes:
 

Before the Event

  • A portfolio of student resumes
  • Storage of table materials for up to 4 days before the event (you will need to arrange shipment to and from the event)

Thursday, February 1

  • 10:00am-Noon: Employer panel discussion and Q&A session with the IONM junior class
  • Noon-1:00pm: Lunch (provided)
  • 1:15-2:30pm: Employer panel discussion and Q&A session with the IONM sophomore class
  • 3:20-5:30pm: Student interview slots (private room for 3 possible interviews; 40 min. each with a 5 min. break in between)
  • 6:00-8:30pm: Employer networking social (cash bar and appetizers)

Friday, February 2

  • 7:30-9:00am: Valet parking (provided)
  • 8:00-9:00am: Continental breakfast (provided) and career fair table set-up
  • 9:00am-Noon: Career fair and student interview slots (private room for 4 possible interviews; 40 min. each with a 5 min. break in between)
  • Noon-1:20pm: Lunch (provided) and student scholarship awards
  • 1:20-5:00pm: Career fair and student interview slots (private room for 5 possible interviews; 40 min. each with a 5 min. break in between)
  • 4:30-6:00pm: Valet parking (provided)

You may bring up to 3 representatives from your organization. Any additional representatives are $75 per person. All fees are non-refundable.

After you have registered, we will email you a portfolio of student resumes, hotel recommendations (lodging is not provided), valet parking information, and table material shipping instructions. We will also schedule your student interviews and email you a detailed, personalized itinerary a week before the event.

Potential employers will be on campus for the IONM Career Fair on Thursday, February 1, and Friday, February 2, in various rooms at the Michigan League. For IONM majors, this is a great opportunity to network!

  • Seniors -- the deadline to submit your resume is December 12, 2017. You will receive instructions on how to submit your resume and sign up for interview slots.
  • Participants will receive a detailed schedule with times and locations before the event.
