Description

This course provides students with a thorough understanding of the movement characteristics and associated support needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities. Students will learn to design, modify, and implement individual-level accommodations to physical activities and sports. Students will have the option to enroll in a 3-credit section (lecture only) or a 4-credit section (lecture and a community-based practicum experience).
