Kraus Groundbreaking at Homecoming
Kinesiology alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends took part in Homecoming festivities in a tent beside the School's future home, the Kraus Building. A groundbreaking ceremony signaled the beginning of renovations to the building, and performing the "digging" were:
- Dean Lori Ploutz-Snyder;
- Provost Martin Philbert;
- U-M Vice President for Development Jerry May;
- Philanthropist and 2014 Dean's Awardee Jeannine Galetti;
- Donor and 2017 Early Career Awardee Nick Shaw (SM '11); and
- Kinesiology Student Government (KSG) president Evie Chodock.
The Alumni Awards for 2018 were then given out by Kinesiology Alumni Society (KAS) Board president Heidi Haite.
This year's awardees are:
- Dan Gaiman (Early Career Achievement)
- Erin Prober-Charlupski (Early Career Achievement);
- Danny Koblin (Career Achievement);
- Brian Movalson (Career Achievement); and
- Noel Cimmino (Distinguished Service).
