Facebook-MLB streaming partnership seen as business success, despite backlash

Major League Baseball has been a pioneer in online broadcasting - and their recent deal with Facebook to exclusively stream their games makes them even more so. Despite Facebook's scandal on spreading misinformation and data privacy, insiders remain optimistic that its convenience and interactivity will outweigh its cons. Sport Management Associate Professor Dae Hee Kwak comments that the scandal wouldn't decrease demand for live streaming content. Instead, more direct intrusions to the user experience, like glitches, matter more.
