About
Dr. Elizabeth Salerno is an assistant professor of applied exercise science and director of the Healthy Aging after Cancer Laboratory (HACL) at the University of Michigan. Prior to her time at U-M, she was an assistant professor in the Division of Public Health Sciences, Department of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Dr. Salerno earned her PhD in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship as a Cancer Prevention Fellow at the National Cancer Institute and earned her MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a concentration in biostatistical and epidemiological methods for public health and clinical research.
