U-M & SoK Expectations & Compliance

Creating a Wolverine Culture of Care
It is of critical importance in protecting the health and safety of all students, faculty, and staff that we all take shared responsibility in adhering to the guidelines of the university during this unprecedented time. In line with the university’s commitment to the Wolverine Culture of Care, we require all students, faculty, and staff to comply with the guidelines in the following links:

U-M Face Covering Policy and ADA Accommodations
As outlined in the U-M face covering policy for COVID-19, all students, staff, faculty, and visitors are required to wear a face covering (that covers the mouth and nose) whenever on campus. One exception to this policy is when you are granted a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). For employees who would like information on requesting such accommodations, please contact SoK HR director Jacquie Niven (jmwhite@umich.edu) or the U-M Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) at myumi.ch/xmgkq. Please direct any students who wish to learn more to the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) page, which includes an intake form: myumi.ch/Plk7P. Students are also welcome to contact SoK undergraduate student affairs director, Shannon Hennessey (shenness@umich.edu), or SoK graduate student affairs manager, Charlene Ruloff (cruloff@umich.edu).
