KINNECTIONS

The Kinesiology Career Development Center utilizes KINNECTIONS, powered by Purple Briefcase, to promote job and internship opportunities to Kinesiology students. 

 

Students:

 

With KINNECTIONS, you’ll be able to:

  • Apply for jobs and internships
  • Create a profile for employers to search
  • Register for career center events
  • Schedule a career advising appointment
  • Get career resources and tips

How to access KINNECTIONS:

  • Log in to http://bit.ly/KINNECTIONS with your umich email and password
  • Create your visual profile and fill out the “About Me” section

Once you've created an account, you'll be able to access KINNECTIONS using either desktop or mobile devices. To access on mobile, download their free app from iTunes or Google Play.

Employers:

 

Promote your full-time, internship, and shadowing opportunities for U-M Kinesiology students on KINNECTIONS. Signing up is quick and easy.

  1. Start by going to KINNECTIONS.
  2. Click the New Employer button.
  3. Under the first column, "Purple Briefcase: FREE," click Get Started.
  4. Complete the Personal Account Information and Business Account Information pages (there aren't a lot of questions -- promise!).
  5. If you see a pop-up saying, "Join. Connect. Hire.", you can ignore by clicking the "x" in the top right corner.
  6. You will then see the My Briefcase - My Schools page. Go to the bottom where it says Request a school connection (without a code). Select MI for the state, then University of Michigan / School of Kinesiology.
  7. Click the Request Connection button. A pop-up will appear indicating that your request has been sent to us.

After we approve your profile, you’ll be able to post your first job! In the meantime, build your company profile and upload your logo.
