Q: What's your favorite thing about our school?

A: My favorite thing about the School of Kinesiology is the brand new facility and location! As a facilities assistant, being able to work in a brand new university building is an honor.

Q: What's the most meaningful aspect of your work?

A: The most meaningful part of my work is helping people and being a problem solver. I also enjoy interacting with the students, faculty, and staff.

Q: How do you balance your time between the demands of your work and personal life?

A: I balance my time between the demands of my work and personal life by recharging through exercise and spending quality time with my loved ones. Coming home to my cat, Milo, after a long day at work is usually a highlight of my day.

Q: What's one fun or surprising thing about you?

A: When I was 19 years old, I spent a summer working on a U.S. Navy fighter ship. I worked in a shipyard for Marinette Marine in Marinette, Wisconsin. I was a wireman and pulled electrical and communication wires on USS Little Rock (LCS-9), a freedom-class littoral combat ship.

Q: If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would it be and why?

A: In the United States, New Orleans — there is so much culture and amazing food. Internationally, I would love to visit Greece for the ancient history and beautiful beaches.

The most meaningful part of my work is helping people and being a problem solver. I also enjoy interacting with the students, faculty, and staff.
