On February 3 Dr. Donald Sabo, Senior Sport and Health Policy Advisor at the Women's Sports Foundation, will speak on "The Social Costs of Falling Short of Gender Equity in High School Sports". (Details)
Dr. Marie Hardin, Associate Director, Curley Center for Sports Journalism at Penn State University, will discuss "The Impact of Journalistic Norms on the Framing of Title IX and Women's Sports" on March 15. (Details)
Dr. Richard Lapchick, Program Director and Chair of the DeVos Sport Business Management Program at the University of Central Florida, will present "Women Kept Out: The Numbers behind the Story" on March 26. (Details)
And on April 18 C. Vivian Stringer (pictured above), Women's Basketball Coach at Rutgers University and 2009 inductee into the Basketball Hall of Fame, will speak on "Title IX, Perhaps the Most Important Piece of Legislation Affecting Women/Society over the Past 40 Years". (Details)
