One Step at a Time

Evan Kurnick Down syndrome story
March 21, 2019

Tiny treadmills produced in West Michigan have enabled Down syndrome kids like Evan Kurnick to participate in sports with peers. MVS professor Dale Ulrich and his team work with parents of DS kids to facilitate their development. Jeanette and Jim Kurnick are among the hundreds of families grateful for the research and treadmill that helped their son.

Jeanette Kurnick said, “…Our son was blessed to be a participant in the program and to be the recipient of such tremendous work. It has impacted his life.”
