Mike Raher Named PE Major of the Year


The Michigan Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance named Physical Education undergraduate Mike Raher the 2013 U-M National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) Major of the Year.

Raher was nominated by the U-M Physical Education faculty for the MAHPERD Major of the Year and received the award in Traverse City, Mich.

He was also nominated as the U-M Major of the Year for NASPE and received this award at the National Convention of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) held in North Carolina.

This summer Raher is working at a summer camp near his home town just outside of Chicago. He will be student teaching this fall.
