Lepley Receives NATA Dissertation Award

Lindsey Lepley NATA award

Lindsey Lepley, PhD '14, has been named recipient of the 2016 National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Doctoral Dissertation Award. She will receive her award at the NATA convention June 22-25 in Baltimore.

The NATA Doctoral Dissertation Award recognizes outstanding doctoral student research in athletic training and health care. Her winning dissertation is titled, “Targeting Quadriceps Weakness Following Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction."

Dr. Lepley was mentored by AT/MVS associate professor Riann Palmieri-Smith in her Neuromuscular Research Laboratory.

Lindsey is currently assistant professor, Department of Kinesiology, at the University of Connecticut
