Bidding for good, going to the MATS

Auction items

Student managers and athletic trainers provide valuable support to U-M varsity teams, making our Wolverines "Leaders and Best."

These students -- many of them Kinesiology majors -- reap educational and professional benefits from their experiences, but it comes at a significant cost in terms of time commitment. While their peers are paid for part-time jobs -- and some for internships -- most student managers and athletic training students are not. Providing scholarship support for these students is a meaningful way to enhance their student experience.

Our goal is to create a one-year scholarship to support a rising Kinesiology senior currently serving as a:

  • volunteer student manager (any Kinesiology major); or
  • athletic trainer (AT majors fulfilling clinical requirements for their degree).

To this end, the Kinesiology Alumni Society (KAS) Board has established the Managers and Athletic Trainers Scholarship.

KAS Board members are currently holding an online auction

Check it out on our Bidding for Good webpage:! This year items on the auction block include autographed memorabilia from a variety of college (U-M, of course!) and professional sports.

Bid high, bid often, and Go Blue!
