The 25th Annual Health and Fitness Workshop will provide ready-to-implement ideas and practices teachers can take back to their classroom in the areas of health, physical education, recreation, sports and athletics, dance, professional development, and adapted activity.
Participants can attend 4 hour-long sessions, plus the keynote presentation. There is also a pre-workshop option for CPR/AED training.
Keynote this year: Coaching Women in Sports. This panel discussion will feature:
Panelists will discuss women in sports, tips on how to successfully coach young women, the development of Title IX, specific challenges they've encountered, and the progress seen in women's sports throughout the years.
Lunch may be ordered when you register and it will be delivered during the keynote. There is no break for lunch.
Prices: $25 for students, $80 for non-students, and $50 for CPR/AED training. $15 for boxed lunch.
