Job Exploration Groups
The Kinesiology Career Development Center is launching Job Exploration Groups for the 2021 Winter semester! This virtual workshop series is intended for the Class of 2021 and will be offered to other students if space is available.
These groups will have an emphasis on individual empowerment and social support while providing resources in order to increase career self-efficacy. Students will be directed through a career development model with four topic areas: self-assessment, career exploration, decision-making, and job search.
There will be two groups led by our career peer advisors, one for students in the Health Sciences and another for those studying Sport Management. Each group will meet six times, beginning the week of January 25 through March 1. Each session will have a topic focus with the end goal of making students better-equipped job seekers.
- Health Sciences Group: Mondays from 9:00-10:00am
- Sport Management Group: Mondays from 2:30-3:30pm
