U-M School of Kinesiology undergraduate students, in all of our majors, are valued, sought-after, and respected.
They’re energetic and effective leaders. They volunteer with organizations such as Mock Rock, Dance Marathon, Alternative Spring Break, Habitat for Humanity, and Mott Children’s Hospital. They lead student groups such as the Sport Business Association, Organization for Athletic Training Students, Pre-Physical Therapy Club, and Phi Epsilon Kappa.
They win a host of awards from our School, the University, and national organizations such as the American Kinesiology Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, SHAPE America, and the Big Ten.
They’re international travelers, gaining significant global experience to enrich their education.
They volunteer as teaching assistants in a wide range of Kinesiology classes.
They conduct research in labs across campus, publish in scholarly professional journals, and have written for the Michigan Daily or M-GoBlue.com.
They work on and off campus, excel in independent study opportunities, and intern with sports organizations, companies, hospitals, clinics, and schools. They are active, motivated, and very busy.
