When it comes to Athletic Training, Michigan provides a stellar combination of top research, medicine, and athletics resources. Our program majors study the treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of injuries and many go on to work with elite athletes on some of the greatest athletic teams in the world. Our curriculum combines classroom instruction in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and pharmacology with hands-on clinical experiences and valuable mentorships. As a student in our program, you will regularly interact with and learn from athletic trainers and health professionals, as well as leading athletic medicine researchers.
Program graduates are eligible to take the Board of Certification exam. Many go on to graduate study in athletic training, medicine, physical therapy, and more.
