Description
Social Media has become a crucial platform for athletes and sport organizations to engage fans and drive sport consumption, as well as market and promote games and products. In this course, students will analyze social media data using quantitative methods. This course focuses on text analysis and uses statistics and graphs to depict the characteristics and patterns in the data. Students will conduct sentiment analysis using sentiment libraries to analyze social media posts to draw conclusions that will drive social media strategies to best engage fans and improve business.
