Description

This course is designed to equip students with the skills to communicate findings and research in movement science with a high degree of effectiveness. An important aspect of communicating effectively about science is learning to think critically about it and to develop a capacity for analyzing and synthesizing scientific research findings. The complementary and main focus of the course is learning to write about science. The format of the class is lecture and discussion and will include student presentations and peer review of assignments. This course will improve students' ability to communicate ideas and findings clearly and effectively. While writing is the main focus, there are presentation opportunities as well.
