A showcase displaying research findings of U-M School of Kinesiology graduate students was held Thursday, April 11, in 3040 CCRB (Google Maps).
The Showcase began with three 10-minute oral presentations, followed by five poster presentations, and concluded with four more 10-minute oral presentations. Topics range from consumer attitudes toward athlete endorsement, to biomechanics of movement, to the body's metabolic responses to physical activity -- representing the breadth of Kinesiology Graduate Student research.
In her introduction, Ketra Armstrong PhD, Associate Dean, Graduate and Faculty Affairs, said, "It has indeed been my pleasure to host an event to celebrate the outstanding research of our students, and to feature them today as the scholars of tomorrow. I hope that this Research Showcase will stretch your minds… and exercise your imaginations with Research that Moves You!"
