Would you recommend this program? |
Yes. Spending a semester in a foreign country is a once in a lifetime opportunity. You might never have the chance to live in a foreign country after you graduate from college. |
Advice: |
Save up money before you go, because you never want financial concerns holding you back while abroad. |
Fluency required? |
Did not matter (English spoken). |
Will this help you in your profession? |
I had the advantage of taking my major's courses. I was able to fulfill my MVS requirements while abroad. My semester abroad also reconfirmed my desire to attend graduate school. |
Comments: |
My semester abroad changed the way I view people — I became more open-minded.
Seize every opportunity, and cherish every minute, because you have no idea how fortunate you are to be able to spend a semester abroad.
Also, make the most of your coursework. Just because you are in a foreign country doesn't mean that you won't receive a good education. Too many study abroad students put little value on coursework. If you have a choice, live in the dorms. |
