Classroom Reservations

Effective Winter 2010, as part of the move towards centralizing classroom reservations campus-wide, the M-Pathways classroom scheduling system will replace the Outlook classroom calendars.

Classroom Hours:
Monday – Friday: 7:00am–5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Classroom reservations may be made for times not listed above, as long as a full-time U-M staff or faculty member is supervising the event.

Timeline for Centrally Scheduled Classroom Requests

For all room reservation requests, except those for 3050 CCRB and 3100 Observatory Lodge, please follow the Central Scheduling timeline. Rooms 3050 CCRB and 3100 OBL are not subject to this timeline as they are not available for non-Kinesiology classes.

This timeline is dictated by the Office of Registrar’s Central Scheduling Policy.

Conference Rooms

Conference room calendars are available to Kinesiology faculty and staff in Outlook.

To schedule a conference room, create an event in your Outlook calendar and “invite” the appropriate room. In Outlook these are named:

• Kin OBL Room 1170 – seating capacity: 17
• Kin OBL Room 2170 – seating capacity: 8
  
• Kin OBL Room 4145 – seating capacity: 17
  
• Kinesiology CCRB 3745D Conference Room – seating capacity: 10
  

You may also contact the individuals below to reserve a conference room:

• 1170 and 2170 OBL — Maple Le
• 4145 OBL (Dean’s Conference Room) — Marsha Lewis
• 3745D CCRB — Leona Cranford

If one of these individuals is unavailable, you may contact the other two conference room schedulers for reservations.

Student Group Events

The SOAS student groups listed below may schedule KINES classrooms, at no cost, through Maple Le:

• Kinesiology Ambassadors
• Kinesiology Mentor Program
• Kinesiology Student Government
• Curriculum Advisory Group
• Pre-PT Club
• Organization for Athletic Training Students (OATS)
• Physical Education Association (PEA)
• Sport Business Association (SBA)

Student groups not identified above may still request a KINES room through SOAS (Student Organization Accounts Service), but there is a fee (see below).
