SHARP Insights: Women Kept Out: The Numbers behind the Story
Lecture by Richard Lapchick

Program Director and Chair
DeVos Sport Business Management Program, University of Central Florida

Prof. Lapchick will address the status of women leaders in organized sport, including the National Basketball Association, the Women’s National Basketball Association, the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, and college athletics. He will also discuss the proportion of top media jobs held by women at more than 400 newspapers and dot-com companies. He will conclude with suggestions for creating more opportunities for women in professional and college sport organizations.
