Graduation

Congratulations! If you are reading this section of the web site, you must be very close to graduating from the University of Michigan.

The first step is to have an official degree audit done in OSS, prior to early registration for your final semester.
Students applying for graduation use the self-service graduation application in Wolverine Access. From the Student Business page, select “Apply for Graduation”. The on-line application will be available until the last day of classes for the common University Academic Calendar term in which the degree requirements are completed.
To participate in the Kinesiology Commencement Ceremony and appear in the Commencement printed program, you must fill out the white Degree/Diploma Verification form, found at the OSS front desk, and return it to the OSS front desk staff.
There is a reception in the Michigan League Ballroom immediately following our ceremony for you and your guests. Be sure to join us for this wonderful opportunity for faculty and staff to congratulate you and meet your families.
The university-wide commencement ceremonies in December and April are open to all students. You may attend both the Kinesiology (April only) and university-wide ceremonies.
Please note: the Kinesiology ceremony recognizes each graduate by name - if you attend only one ceremony, you and your guests will enjoy the Kinesiology ceremony more.

Winter Term 2010: Friday, April 30-Sunday, May 2, 2010*

* The Winter Term University-wide Commencement ceremony is always on Saturday, and Kinesiology's is always on the Friday night before.
