Tutoring
The Kinesiology Ambassador Program offers free tutoring in Kinesiology and non-Kinesiology courses.
During individual tutoring sessions the student and tutor meet at their convenience in an agreed-upon location. Students can ask questions about material they do not understand in a certain course.
Tutors are student volunteers who have done well (B+ or better) in a course they are tutoring, either in Kinesiology or as part of their Kinesiology curriculum, and want to help their peers to do the same. Their role is to answer questions and assist students in learning course material.
If you are interested in obtaining a tutor, please contact your OSS advisor. They will give you a list of tutors and contact information for the course you are requesting help in. It is up to you to contact the tutor and the two of you will set up an agreed-upon time and location.
If you would like to become a tutor, please contact Martha Reck, 647-2697, or Rebecca Chinsky. You must have a B+ or better in the courses you are interested in tutoring, as well as the availability to participate in the program.
