This course is designed to provide students with a thorough understatus of the factors that contribute to the motor behavior characteristics of children with developmental disabilities. Application of this knowledge to designing and implementing quality pediatric motor development and physical activity programs will be emphasized. A research-to-practice model will be employed. Students will learn how to assess the current level of movement skill development.
